Everything you need to understand regarding how ORDR-DESK publishes and monitors a call, the membership tiers, and how performance is counted.

Platform & Philosophy

What is ORDR-DESK?

ORDR-DESK publishes swing-trade research calls on US equities and ETFs. An analyst writes each call; when it is published, its entry zone, stop and targets are recorded and the database stamps the publication time. Server workers then monitor price against those levels, and each lifecycle event is recorded in an append-only events table.

What markets are covered?

ORDR-DESK focuses primarily on liquid US equities, equity ETFs (such as SPY, QQQ, and IWM), and high-beta growth leadership. Coverage universe focuses on securities with sufficient trading volume and clean option/equity liquidity.

Does ORDR-DESK guarantee returns?

No. ORDR-DESK does not guarantee financial returns or offer personalized investment advice. Trading equities involves significant risk of loss. Our purpose is to publish research with defined entry, stop and target levels, and a performance record calculated from the recorded outcomes of those calls.

Opportunities & Mechanics

What is a potential opportunity?

A potential opportunity is a structured research call published by our analyst desk prior to price entry. It defines the exact qualifying Entry Min/Max range, Invalidation Stop level, and sequential Target Ladder (T1/T2/T3) in advance.

What is the difference between published and triggered?

A published opportunity is merely candidate research; it is not yet an active trade. The monitor moves it to 'Triggered' when it observes market prices trading within the predefined entry boundaries during qualifying market sessions. If price moves away without entering the zone, it remains untriggered.

What happens when an entry is never reached?

When an entry is never reached before the setup's expiration time, the opportunity expires with status expired. Invalidation is a different status, invalidated. An expired call stays in the ledger and is not counted as a completed trade in win rate or return.

Why are never-triggered opportunities shown?

To prevent 'survivorship bias' and selective memory. Many advisory services delete ideas that failed to trigger. By displaying all published candidate setups, members can independently audit analyst discipline and timing accuracy.

How are T1, T2, and T3 tracked?

Each target has a predefined allocation percentage (e.g. 50% at T1, 25% at T2, 25% at T3). When the monitor observes a trade at a target level, it records the hit, and the performance calculation weights the partial exits. If a stop is hit before all targets are achieved, the remaining weight is closed at the observed trade price that reached the stop.

Monitoring & Evidence

How does automated monitoring work?

Our monitoring engine opens an authenticated tick stream from our market data provider and reconciles observed trades against active positions during eligible sessions. Coverage is a bounded sample rather than a continuous watch: each run observes a short window, and the interval between runs is recorded as a monitor gap rather than assumed clear. When price boundaries are met, events are committed to a database-enforced append-only ledger with timestamp and price evidence.

How are performance results calculated?

Results are calculated from each call's recorded trigger price, target hits, close price and lifecycle events: the weighted exit across any target scale-outs, measured against the trigger price and signed by direction. The monitor writes trigger, target, stop, invalidation and expiry events by checking observed trades against the call's levels and its expiry time; publication, revision and cancellation are recorded by the publishing workflow. A feed gap is recorded rather than filled in.
